Speech Therapy Session

About the Founder

I am Elizabeth Forgey Stafford AKA Liz. I hail from Virginia, where I obtained a Bachelors degree with honors in Speech and Audiology in 2015 at Old Dominion University (ODU). Afterward, I remained at ODU to complete my Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2017. Prior to becoming a SLP I used to be an AVID tutor, special needs camp counselor, and a reading tutor for a local organization that assists children with dyslexia. Teaching is in my bones (my mother was a special educator at a local public school system), and I found myself gravitating toward supporting families and individuals who were unable to have a voice to communicate their needs. Over the course of my career, I found a deep love for fostering a student clinicians' and CFs' development and helping them gain clinical confidence over the course of their semester or CF experience. In my free time, you can catch me learning more about our craft, playing with my plethora of animals, or outside getting some much needed Vitamin D as I catch up on a good book.
